Honda City in India and Pakistan almost same in price, very different in features

New Delhi : Honda cars India is all set to launch the brand new edition of Honda City 2020 which is likely to dominate the sedan segment for one more time in Indian markets. The 6th-generation of Honda City will be offering a slew of upgrades - both in terms of style, drive capabilities and features.

The new version of Honda City will also be launched in neighbouring nation Pakistan but things are not the same. In a comparison of Honda City's upcoming model in India and existing model in Pakistan, it has been seen that there is a wide difference in terms of features with a negligible difference in price.

According to PakWheels, the existing City in the country lacks some of the most basic features that are now almost standard in cars sitting in much lower segment in the Indian market, as well as in the previous generation City here. The absence of airbags, cruise control, LED head lights, LED tail lights, remote entry, rear AC vents, one-touch sunroof are some of the key features that the model in Pakistan skips altogether. Quite obviously then, the City in Pakistan also does not have new features that the sixth-generation model incorporates like Lane Watch camera, Alexa compatibility and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TMPS) display.

The all-new Honda City will be officially launched in India on July 15, but it is unlikely that the car is launched in Pakistan any time before 2021. It is expected that whenever it will be launched in Pakistan, it will have a much higher price tag.
