Delhi : In India, Honda Cars is getting ready to unveil the mid-size SUV Honda Elevate. Bookings for the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos rival have already begun, but there is some extremely intriguing information about the latest model of the Japanese automaker that has to do with mileage.

Honda Elevate's engine

The Honda Elevate will use the dependable 1.5-liter i-VTEC DOHC petrol engine, which has a maximum output of 121PS and a maximum torque of 145Nm, as we have already informed you. A 6-speed manual gearbox (MT) or a 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox can be used with the engine. It is unlikely that Honda will use a hybrid powertrain in the Elevate.

Honda Improve Mileage

The Honda Elevate MT's quoted mileage is 15.31 km/l, compared to the Honda Elevate CVT's 16.92 km/l.

Elevate Honda's top speed

The top speed of the Honda Elevate is reportedly 160kmph.

Launch of Honda Elevate

Although the Honda Elevate will be introduced in India in September, the exact date has not yet been made public.

Bookings for Honda Elevate

Honda has begun taking reservations for the Elevate. Both the online Honda from Home platform and Honda dealerships are available for booking. The deposit is set at Rs 21,000 per booking.

Variants of the Honda Elevate

There are four Elevate variations available: SV, V, VX, and ZX. All four types are available with the MT option, but only the top three -- V, VX, and ZX -- are offered with the CVT option.

Features of the Honda Elevate

The Elevate comes equipped with 17-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED taillamps, LED projector headlights with LED DRLs and turn indicators, and an electric sunroof. A 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch HD coloured TFT MID, automated climate control, and other features are available inside the cabin. There is also the Honda Sensing ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) package.

Honda raises its price

The Elevate is anticipated to cost between Rs 10.50 lakh and Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
