New Delhi : Honda Cars India, the famous Japanese carmaker company, recently unveiled its highly awaited compact SUV, the Elevate, in the Indian market. This marked Honda's debut in the mid-size SUV segment, with prices ranging from Rs 10.99 lakhs to Rs 15.99 lakhs. Competing with the Hyundai Creta, the Elevate boasts a striking exterior design and an elegant interior. Despite already experiencing a six-month waiting period for this model, Honda has decided to promote the car further and add to the sales by launching a new television commercial (TVC) for this recently introduced SUV.

The fresh TVC for the Honda Elevate is available on Honda Cars India's official YouTube channel. The video starts with a man approaching the brand-new Elevate and unlocking it, showcasing the bold LED headlights with distinctive LED DRLs. The video also provides a glimpse of the SUV's interior, featuring a dual-tone tan and black color scheme, a state-of-the-art 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a wireless charger.

Subsequently, the video presents the Elevate driving past towering corporate buildings, followed by a group of individuals chasing the vehicle. The driver is then seen using the car's paddle shifter to navigate an off-road course before returning to the road, where he is pursued by horseback polo players. Paragliders and a team of women in boats are also depicted chasing the Honda Elevate. The video concludes with the tagline, "You are the Chase," emphasizing the thrilling experience of being behind the wheel of the Honda Elevate.

The Honda Elevate, as Honda's inaugural compact SUV, faces stiff competition in the Indian market. Rivals include the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and the MG Astor. It aims to stand out among competitors by offering a spacious boot, greater length, and increased width. The success of these endeavors will be revealed in the coming months.

Honda is offering the Elevate in four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. Reservations for the Elevate opened some time ago, with cars now arriving at dealerships and a six-month waiting period. Color choices for the Elevate include Phoenix Orange, Obsidian Blue, Radiant Red, Platinum White, Golden Brown, Meteoroid Gray, and Lunar Silver. Additionally, dual-tone options are available, combining Phoenix Orange with a Crystal Black roof, Radiant Red with a Crystal Black roof, and Platinum White with a Crystal Black roof.

Regarding the powertrain, the Honda Elevate exclusively offers a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, which is also featured in the sedan counterpart, the City. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox and produces 121 PS of maximum power and 145 Nm of maximum torque.
