HOP electric bike can travel up to 150 kilometers on a single charge

Delhi : In the Indian market, a number of bikes are being introduced in the electric two-wheeler category. As the popularity of electric vehicles continues to grow, more start-up businesses are also introducing their own EVs. During the Hyderabad E-Motor Show, HOP Electric introduced their brand-new electric motorbike, the HOP OXO, to the Indian market.

Let us inform you that this bike was officially launched at the Telangana State Government's Hi-Tech Exhibition Center for Electric Vehicles. It stands out from the crowd because to its powerful design and battery pack. This motorcycle has a starting price of Rs. 1.56 lakh (ex-showroom).

The industry says that this will undoubtedly affect the motorbike industry. The appearance and design of a computer motorbike have been given to this vehicle. This bike is highly beautiful because of its headlight, single seat, and disc brakes on both wheels. A plastic cowl has also been placed over the motor area at the bottom of the motorcycle.

Engine

Regarding the motorcycle's powertrain, it features a high-performance lithium battery pack with a 3.75 Kwh capacity and an 850 W smart charger. This battery can be charged from empty to 80% in approximately 4 hours. It features a 72 V capacity electric motor that produces 5.2 Kw of power and 185 to 200 Nm of torque. The motorcycle can go between 135 and 150 kilometres on a single charge and has a peak speed of 95 kilometres per hour.

Specifications & Color Options

A BLDC hub motor, sinusoidal FOC vector control, and many riding modes, including eco, power, sport, and reverse, are included with the bike. Additionally, it has hydraulic front suspension, hydraulic rear suspension with spring-loaded shock absorbers, disc brakes with a combi-brake system, and regenerative braking. It can carry 250 kg of weight. It also contains a 5-inch Smart LCD display (1000 cd/m2, IP67), which is for connectivity and safety and provides 4G LTE connectivity. Numerous colour variants for the HOP OXO 5 are available, including Twilight Grey, Candy Red, Magnetic Blue, Electric Yellow, and True Black.
