Hyundai Exter: 50,000 bookings with high demand for AMT variant
Delhi : More than 50,000 Exter reservations have been made, according to Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL). In just 30 days after launch, bookings increased from 10,000 to 50,000. Additionally, Hyundai disclosed that the AMT variants account for almost one-third of reservations. Tata Punch is the major opponent of the Hyundai Exter. The Exter costs between 6 lakh and 10 lakh rupees right now. Both costs are introductory and ex-showroom.
Seven different models of the Exter are available for purchase. There are EX, EX(O), S, S(O), SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect. Hyundai Exter is available with a 3-year (unlimited-mileage warranty) as well as a 7-year extended warranty option. The exterior color options for the mini SUV include 3 dual tone and 6 monotone variants.
Because it offered a number of industry-first features, the Exter really stood out in the market. It includes footwell illumination, metal pedals, a shark-fin antenna, an electric smart sunroof, rear AC vents, premium floor mats, paddle shifters, on-board navigation, and support for many languages. It also has a dashcam with twin cameras, a wireless charger, premium floor mats, and premium floor mats.
A 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that is used in other Hyundai cars propels the Exter. It has a maximum output of 81.86 bhp and a maximum torque of 113.8 Nm. These numbers are down to 68 horsepower and 95.2 Nm while using CNG. Peak power is produced at 6,000 rpm, while peak torque is produced at 4,000 rpm.
The Petrol engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. The CNG engine only receives a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine is quite tuned and smooth. Additionally, the AMT gearbox changes with only a slight head nod, making it one of the best AMTs on the market. The manual gearbox likewise engages with a nice feeling. It's interesting that paddle shifters are also available for the Exter AMT.
