Delhi : The Exter, the most economical SUV offered by Hyundai Motor India, is now available for Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). The car comes in five trim levels, has a single engine that can run on petrol or CNG, and has both manual and automatic gearbox options. According on the trim, engine, and gearbox configurations, the company has so far disclosed the costs of 11 variants.

Five model levels are available for the Hyundai Exter: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect. The vehicle's 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder Kappa petrol engine, which has a maximum output of 83PS and a maximum torque of 113.8Nm, is its heart. This engine can be paired with either a 5-speed or a 5-speed AMT. Additionally, a 5-speed MT with a CNG option is available (69 PS and 95.2 Nm).

Hyundai Exter 1.2 Petrol MT

Exter petrol MT prices range from Rs 6 lakh for the entry-level EX trim to Rs 9.32 lakh for the top-spec SX(O) Connect. The costs for additional options are listed below.

  • EX - Rs. 60,000
  • S: 7.27 lakh rupees
  • SX: Rs. 80,000
  • SX(O): 8.64 lakh rupees
  • SX(O) Connect costs Rs. 9,32,000.

Hyundai Exter 1.2 Petrol AMT

The EX trim does not include the AMT option. S then serves as the entry point for the AMT option. The costs of the Exter petrol AMT choices are listed below.

  • S: 7.97 lakh rupees
  • SX: 8.68 lakh rupees
  • SX(O) - Rs. 9.32 lakh
  • SX(O) Connect - Rs. 10 lakh

Hyundai Exter 1.2 CNG AMT

Only the S and SX trims of the Exter CNG are offered. These are their prices, in order.

  • S: 8.24 lakh rupees
  • SX: 8.97 lakh rupees

All of the prices listed above are ex-showroom. Hyundai has kept the costs of the dual-tone options a secret. They should cost between Rs 15,000 and 20,000 more than their monotone counterparts, though.
