Delhi : A brand-new SUV will soon be released in the Indian market, according to Hyundai. The officials declined to give any additional information, but this vehicle may be the Tata Punch rival Ai3 compact SUV in India. The new vehicle will be positioned below the current Hyundai lineup and serve as the brand's new entry-level SUV.

The Hyundai Casper sold in South Korea will be quite comparable in size and position, but the Ai3 made for India will have a very distinct design. Last month, a model test mule was observed running on Indian territory for the first time, suggesting that the model's entrance into the Indian market is soon to come.

A preview of the small SUV's appearance has been given to us by earlier reports. It is expected that certain design features, especially on the outside, will be shared with the Venue. One identifying trait will be the "Hyundai"-related H-shaped LED DRL. Two-tone alloy rims, roof rails, and LED lighting are expected to be included as standard equipment.

We expect it will have the same 1.2-liter petrol engine, which generates 83PS and 114Nm, as well as the same five-speed manual and five-speed automated gearbox options as the Grand i10 Nios. After the vehicle has made its formal debut, a CNG option might be taken into consideration.

The interior of Hyundai's brand-new SUV could feature brushed metal trim, a dual-tone interior motif, a sleek front armrest, cup holders on the central panel and a second row of seats that can be divided 50:50. Safety is expected to be provided by numerous airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and a rearview video.

In addition to competing with the Punch, the new SUV from Hyundai is scheduled to go on sale in August.
