Delhi : The Japanese giant automaker's Nissan Ariya electric compact crossover, which is marketed worldwide, was recently seen on camera in India. Most likely, the model is present for evaluation. The company hasn't yet disclosed its launch strategy for India. However, the automaker promised that by 2025, it would offer a low-cost electric vehicle.

Nissan Ariya EV powertrain 

The Ariya EV is available in two different powertrain configurations on international markets: single-motor RWD and twin-motor 4WD. Two battery packs, totaling 63 and 87 kWh, respectively produce 217 and 242 bhp with 300 and 300 Nm of torque. The latter promises up to 529 km of range, while the former claims to deliver 402 km. The higher trims with the 87kWh battery pack are rated for 306bhp, 600Nm of torque, and a 513km range.

Nissan Ariya EV battery compatability 

The battery pack has a flat design that enables it to fit on a flat floor and provides structural rigidity, and there is an integrated cross member in the battery case. According to claims, the battery pack located underneath the vehicle's centre will ensure "a low centre of gravity and nearly equal weight distribution, front and rear. The electric crossover's rear suspension consists of a multi-link system and an electric motor.

Nissan Ariya EV entertainment features 

The 12.3-inch display integrated into the dashboard of the Nissan Ariya electric crossover serves as both the infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. Along with in-dash navigation, the device supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets a built-in voice assistant, a head-up display, SiriusXM’s new audio system, and wireless smartphone charging

What Nissan Ariya EV have more ?

The automaker has installed ProPilot 2.0 driver assistance technology in the Ariya EV. The safety features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with lane keeping assistance, rear cross traffic alert, high beam assistance, rear automatic braking, blind spot warning, and adaptive cruise control with a lane centering feature.
