Japan: Next Gen Suzuki WagonR to debut in Dec 2021

Japan : The seventh generation of popular hatchback WagonR is set to make its debut in Japan on December 2021, said a report.

For those who think it will be the same as the one sold in India, the Japanese version of the car comes with different specs in according to Kei car regulations. The new version of the car is likely to come up with a set of new exterior changes, but will maintain its boxy design line.

Under the bonnet, the WagonR will use a R06D 3-cylinder engine featuring cooled EGR and rapid combustion systems. The mild-hybrid version is also expected to receive some updates. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
