Jeep Compass 4×2 diesel launch in India: Check features and price

Delhi : A 9-speed automatic transmission is now offered with the Jeep Compass Diesel 4x2. The new 2WD Diesel AT models have an ex-showroom price of Rs 23.99 lakh. Five different models of the MY2024 Compass are offered: the Sport, Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited, BlackShark, and Model S. redesigned design alloy wheels and a redesigned front grille are now included with the SUV. Black leatherette seats with Ignite Red accents, body-color painted roof and lower cladding, 18-inch painted aluminum black-gloss wheels, and BlackShark badging on the fenders are all features of the BlackShark edition.

The SUV has a full-color 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless phone charger, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard.

The 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine in the Compass remains the same as before. It has 168 BHP and 350 Nm of torque, and a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission are also options. According to Jeep, 0–100 km/h takes 9.8 seconds.

Jeep says the completely independent suspension has also been tweaked. It boasts an Advanced Chassis Control system with frequency-dampening front and rear struts.

Jeep also unveiled the Meridian Overland Edition in addition to the redesigned Compass lineup. The SUV has a new grille, new alloy wheels, and an interior painted copper.
