Delhi : Kia India is planning a product launch frenzy in the coming months, with at least four new vehicles on the way. A big improvement to the much awaited Seltos will be made in July, and then in September and December, the Carens and Sonet will also receive updates. In addition, in 2024's first half, the fourth-generation Kia Carnival will make its debut.

On July 4, India will host the world premiere of the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, with the market launch to follow. This time, the SUV will get a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine that produces 160 horsepower and will be mated to a DCT automatic transmission. However, this engine-gearbox combination may only be offered on the GT Line trim, with the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engines continuing to be offered on the other trim levels.

The SUV's GT Line models will be the only ones to include ADAS technology, and a panoramic sunroof will be an option starting with the mid-spec grade. For the first time, the Seltos will include dual-zone temperature control and a redesigned control panel. Its façade will also undergo significant alterations.

According to rumours, the 2023 Kia Carens may also have ADAS technology. This MPV, which is renowned for its functionality and affordability, is anticipated to include a new touchscreen infotainment system, an upgraded instrument panel, new seat upholstery, and a panoramic sunroof. There won't likely be many inside or exterior modifications to the refreshed Kia Sonet. The current engine configuration for both UVs will remain in place.

The brand's new design language will be seen on the next-generation Kia Carnival, which was originally displayed as the Kia KA4 at this year's Auto Expo. The MPV will get bigger and will include the ADAS safety aid system. A new dual-tone interior motif, two 12.3-inch screens, the new "rear passenger view & talk" capability, and other improvements are among the key feature updates.
