Delhi : Global, December 14, 2023: The 2024 Kia Sonet's coverings were raised in a much-anticipated presentation, indicating its impending arrival next year. Hardeep S Brar, Kia India's Sales Head, revealed during the worldwide revealing event that bookings will begin on December 20, asking buyers to secure their Sonet facelift using K-Codes, a technique similar to the successful pre-booking system used before the debut of the Kia Seltos facelift.

Enthusiasts may choose from a variety of transmission options specific to each engine: the 1.2-litre engine comes with a 5-speed manual, while the 1.0-litre engine comes with a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT. Furthermore, the diesel engine offers versatility with manual, iMT, or automated gearbox options.

The updated Kia Sonet includes a slew of cutting-edge technology, including 10 segment-first improvements, most notably Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with 10 autonomous capabilities. Six airbags, in addition to an improved touchscreen infotainment system, improve safety measures. The external design is refreshed, and the inside is finished in two colours, increasing the Sonet's attractiveness.

Updated 2024 Kia Sonet comes with three engine options to suit a variety of tastes: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, a 1.2-litre normally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.0-litre engine produces 118bhp and 172Nm of torque, while the normally aspirated petrol engine produces 82bhp and 115Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the diesel model delivers 114bhp and 250Nm of torque.
