Mahindra Scorpio N prices hiked by up to ₹1,00,000 on selected models
New Delhi : Mahindra and Mahindra had launched its much-awaited Scorpio N SUV around 6 months back. Amid heavy demand and increasing competition, the automaker has now announced a price hike of up to ₹1,00,000 in on its various models. The Mahindra Scorpio-N was launched a a starting price of ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) last year.
The price hike on Scorpio N models ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹1,00,000. Its Z8 4WD variant has received the maximum price hike of ₹1.01 lakh and now it comes at a price of ₹20.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The Z8 L 4WD variant with seven seats and automatic transmission now comes at a price of ₹24.05 lakh (ex-showroom).
Recently, the company had launched 5 new variants of its latest generation, Scorpio N, which are available in both petrol and diesel engines. It must be noted that the jet 2 variants are offered with the safety features which were earlier offered in the variants above.
Talking about the engine specification, the car comes with 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine and 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 198 BHP of maximum power with 380 nm of peak talk, while the diesel unit produces 173 BHP of max power and 400 nm of peak dog. Both the engines are mated with the 6 speed manual and automatic transmission unit.
