Mahindra Thar 5-door variant's dashboard changes revealed for the first time

Delhi : Mahindra has been developing the five-door Thar for a while now. Next year, the SUV will be introduced by the manufacturer to the Indian market. The 5-door Thar's dashboard has now been spotted in a video that an influencer has posted. The dashboard does appear to look a little different from the 3-door Thar's dashboard, as can be seen in the video.

The dashboard has a black and brown dual-tone design. In contrast, the dashboard of the three-door Thar is completely black. The prospect of a dual-tone theme extending to the upholstery is indicated by the dual-tone theme. The bulky grab handle for the passenger, the climate control system, and the round AC vents have all been retained by Mahindra.

The dashboard's hollow area appears to be greater than that of the Thar's dashboard with three doors. Instead of the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with the 3-door Thar, it most likely fits a larger 10.25-inch device. The user interface of the new infotainment system will be sleeker and more responsive than the one on the present model. Mahindra might potentially make modifications to the instrument cluster.

The SUV will also include front armrests, AC vents for the back seats, and an electric sunroof. Currently, it's unclear if the five-door Thar will have a complete bench seat in the second row or just two single seats.

While vibration testing was being done on the dashboard, Daniel Snare took the pictures. Every manufacturer does this crucial test to make sure the NVH levels are within acceptable bounds. Daniel was visiting the Mahindra plant in Cheyyar, Tamil Nadu, where a few Australian influencers were being given a tour of the plant by the company.
