Delhi : Maruti Suzuki Fronx is the newest vehicle to enter India's competitive sub-compact SUV market, which already features models like the Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, and others. With the Fronx and Brezza, Maruti now has two vehicles in the same size class, posing a challenge to rival automakers. Many people might be unsure which SUV to select because there is only a slight price difference of one lakh rupees between the base and top-end models of each SUV. This comparison is meant to assist in deciding which SUV to choose.

Maruti Fronx vs Brezza: Size comparison

Maruti Suzuki Fronx may look smaller than Brezza to the unaided eye. This is due to the Fronx's lesser height than that of its sister, who has a more traditional SUV-like appearance. Maruti Suzuki's newest SUV is 3,995 mm long, 1,765 mm wide, and 1,550 mm height. Brezza is identical in length to Fronx but is 25 mm broader and 135 mm higher. The Fronx has a 2,520 mm wheelbase, which is 20 mm longer than Brezza's. Brezza, on the other hand, has a somewhat greater ground clearance than its sister, at 198 mm.

Maruti Fronx vs Brezza: Performance comparison

Under their hoods, the two SUVs' main differences may be found. In Fronx, Maruti has reintroduced their renowned Boosterjet engine. It provides the SUV with two different powerplant options. The 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine is capable of producing a maximum torque of 147.6 Nm and 100 horsepower. It is available with a six-speed torque converter transmission or a five-speed manual gearbox. A 1.2-liter petrol engine is also available, and it has a maximum torque output of 113 Nm and 90 horsepower. The second engine has an AMT gearbox in addition to the standard manual gearbox. In contrast, the Brezza is available with the new 1.5-liter gasoline K-Series engine. However, while having an engine that is more powerful than the Boosterjet unit, it only produces 103 horsepower and 137 Nm of peak torque. Either a six-speed torque converter or a five-speed manual gearbox is responsible for the gearbox.

Maruti Fronx vs. Brezza: Comparison of features

Fronx won't pass muster if having a sunroof is important in an SUV. With its newest SUV, which is based on the Baleno hatchback, Maruti Suzuki does not provide a glass top. On the other side, Brezza features a sunroof on some of its models. With regard to wheel size, Fronx may outperform Brezza. Compared to the Brezza's 16-inch alloy wheels, it has wider 17-inch wheels. The Fronx offers greater value for the money at a lower cost than the Brezza in terms of additional features. Both SUVs include amenities including wifi networking, a 360-degree camera, and an HD screen, among others.
