Delhi : Mahindra is getting ready to introduce the XUV400, an upgraded model of its all-electric SUV, to the Indian market. The EC Pro and EL Pro are the two new varieties of the electric vehicle that come with the latest upgrade. Early in 2024, the carmaker probably will launch the redesigned XUV400 along with the XUV300 facelift.
The EC Pro version will gain features including a push-button start/stop, keyless entry, rear AC vents, USB charging ports, OCPI hub integration, and rear USB ports. Alternatively, the top-tier EL Pro edition will come equipped with six speakers, an auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, a front fog lamp, and two 10.25-inch screens for the instrument panel and infotainment. New steering wheel, revamped dashboard layout, shark fin antenna, wireless charging, and compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are among the amenities that will also be available.
The XUV400 is powered by two different battery pack options: a 39.4kWh and a 34.5kWh one. It is stated that the former can return 375 km of driving range. On the other hand, the latter has a 456-kilometer driving range on a single charge.
When it arrives, the revised XUV400 will still face off against the Hyundai Kona EV, MG ZS EV, and Tata Nexon EV.
