Delhi : The MG Comet EV, which will function as a city-friendly EV and compete against vehicles like the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen eC3, was presented by MG Motors India in India. With its unusual three-door configuration and tall boy appearance, the MG Comet EV attempts to optimise usable space while maintaining a small footprint. For the time being, the company has only shown off the vehicle; when it is officially launched in India, it will provide all of its details, including price. According to reports, the EV claims to have a range of roughly 230 kilometres on a single charge.

India's MG Comet EV is introduced

After its electric crossover car, the MG ZS EV, the MG Comet EV will be the company's second EV for India. There will be only one fully outfitted variation of the MG Comet EV available. In addition, the car has been seen on open roads without any disguise before it is formally introduced. The corporation will release the EV for media testing and viewing, according to sources, in the upcoming weeks.

The three-door MG Comet EV has a small footprint and is specifically designed for city people searching for a daily runabout. The tall boy design is probably going to give the interior plenty of room. The MG Comet EV will be offered in vibrant and poppy hues with a variety of accents, according to the company's official demonstration.

Lime Green is one of the vivid and cheerful colours that will be offered for the MG Comet EV. Through skins and covers, the EV manufacturer might also provide customization possibilities. The MG Comet EV will sport LED lighting, aerodynamic wheel caps, a dual-tone roof, a parking camera, etc., even though the feature set and specs have not been verified.

Specifications for the MG Comet EV (expected)

The electric motor for the MG Comet EV is anticipated to produce 110Nm of peak torque and 41bhp of peak power. This will be connected to a 17.3 kWh battery pack, which will reportedly provide a 230 km range. The 3.3kW charger that comes with the EV can charge it from empty to full in around seven hours. The MG Comet EV's measurements are 2,974mm in length, 1,505mm in width, and 1,640mm in height, with a 2,010mm wheelbase.
