New Delhi : Tata Nexon has sold more than 10,000 units in a month for the first time in India since its launch.

The mini-SUV was launched way back in 2017 and people have been loving the car for its unmatched safety. It competes with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Ford EcoSport and Honda WR-V.

Early last year, the car was given a facelift in which the manufacturers had given the car a fresh look on the front facia and the interiors were also refreshed to make the car feature loaded. Nexon also comes in electric version.

Recently, the car was also launched in its Dark edition. Some of the prime reasons why this car has gained popularity are solid build quality with five-star Global NCAP safety rating, a premium interior and powerful engines.

The Nexon was the most sold Tata model last month as 10,287 units were recorded in July 2021 against 4,327 units during the same period in 2020 with a massive 137.7 per cent YoY sales surge.
