New official photos reveal detailed exteriors of Hyundai Exter
Delhi : The Exter, a new vehicle from Hyundai, will debut in India on July 10th, 2023. They exchanged pictures beforehand that offer intriguing new information. The Hyundai Exter will compete with the Tata Punch, Citroen C3, and Maruti Ignis in a class.
The company offers a wide range of market-first features to guarantee that it stands out from these more seasoned competitors. Additionally, it will have modern technologies and top-tier passenger accommodations. Bookings for the new Exter are presently being accepted for a Rs 11,000 down payment. Exter deliveries are scheduled to start shortly after that.
Hyundai Exter new information
The Hyundai Exter has an H-shaped LED tail lamp, projector headlights, LED DRLs, clamshell bonnet, and parametric front grille. Doors open widely for simple access and exit. The motorised sunroof, dual tone wheels, etc. are also shown in the new photos.
With a 2,450mm wheelbase, the interior delivers the greatest in class accommodations. Exter height is 1,631 mm, providing optimal head, knee, and leg room for both front and rear passengers. The seats are upholstered in high-quality semi-leatherette and have "Exter" badges. Seven natural ambient noises are provided in the cabin to make driving more relaxing.
Images of the new Hyundai Exter's interior display several elements that are shared with the Grand i10, Nios, and Aura. The new Exter will include an 8 inch (20.32 cm) HD touchscreen infotainment system and digital cluster with a 4.2 inch (10.67 cm) colour TFT multi information display unit, differentiating itself with segment-leading connected vehicle technologies. The Hyundai Exter is the most connected SUV in its class thanks to the inclusion of 60 linked capabilities, the most in its category.
Five model levels are available for the new Hyundai Exter: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect. Additionally, it will feature 90 embedded voice commands, OTA infotainment upgrades, and map updates. Exter now includes Home to Car voice instructions via Alexa, which work in both English and Hindi. Its entertainment system supports 10 regional and 2 international languages, as well as Hinglish instructions like "Sunroof Kholo" and "Temperature Kam Kardo."
First in Class Safety Features
According to a recent Government of India directive, the new Hyundai Exter will have a total of six airbags. These six airbags will be available on all Exter models. Except for the base models E and S, it will also have 26 safety measures.
Included in this are ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), HAC (Hill Assist Control), 3-Point Seat Belt with seatbelt reminders for all seats, a burglar alarm that is a first for the sector, and ABS with EBD. TMPs and a dashboard camera are two other segment-first safety innovations. ISOFIX anchors, a headlight escort functionality, and a rear parking camera are also included.
