Next-gen Maruti Swift likely to debut in 2022

New Delhi : The next generation of Maruti Suzuki Swift is likely to make its global debut in 2022; it will be launched in India at a later stage.

According to a report, the car was first displayed at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show and the company will be selling it in to the developed markets; the price of it is expected to be a little higher due to its premium features.

The fourth-generation Suzuki Swift will be getting an evolutionary styling upgrades and will come with engine options. Some reports have claimed that it will be getting a hybrid option with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, increasing an overall fuel efficiency of the car.

The Swift Sport could have its chassis stiffened further and the powertrain may also be uprated to offer more performance.

The next-gen Swift could get a thoroughly revised cabin with a more advanced features list pertaining to safety, comfort, convenience, connectivity, etc. The forthcoming Swift Sport will also get a host of cosmetic revisions besides mechanical enhancements.
