Delhi : Renault is preparing for the widely promised introduction of the new generation Duster SUV, which is expected to happen in Portugal on November 29. The next Duster will have new foundations and engine options and be an entirely new SUV from the ground up. New information about the forthcoming Duster suggests that it will be bigger and have more advanced technology than its predecessor. Thanks to a completely new exterior design, Renault will be positioned stronger against their current competitors.

New Patent Photos for Dusters

The 2024 Renault Duster will have a more noticeable exterior appearance, according to a fresh batch of patent photos. It will be based on the Bigster concept, a three-row SUV that is 4.6 metres long; the new Duster, however, might not be that long.

According to the picture, the Duster SUV will have unique Y-shaped headlights and a more contemporary grille that combines the two headlamps into one. The automobile will have two vertical air vents in the style of a flattened bull-bar on the bottom part of the front fascia and front bumper, similar to the Bigster concept.

There will be a spoiler, roof rails, and squared-off wheel arches, among other notable similarities to the Bigster. Renault has notably kept the tapering rear quarter glass as a visual link between the original Duster and the new model. The 'B' and 'C' pillars are blacked out, and a vertical'shadow-line' is also blacked out under the mirrors. New ten-spoke alloy wheels—likely standard on the top variant—and a distinctive bend in the bodywork behind the rear doors are shown in patent photos.

When Will India Get New Dusters?

Since the brand's founding and continued to be the face of Renault in India, the Renault Duster has been a hugely popular SUV in the nation. By 2025, the new Duster model will also be available in India. It will assist the business in regaining market share in the small SUV class, which is now dominated by vehicles like the Volkswagen Taigun, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and more.
