Delhi : For the upcoming few years, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has outlined some significant plans. The Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) that supports the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport will be kept by the luxury SUV manufacturer. The business can create vehicles using internal combustion engines, hybrid powertrains, and batteries thanks to this platform. Overall, this platform allows the automobile manufacturer freedom in developing vehicles to meet the needs of diverse markets across the world.

Both the Jaguar sibling brand and the Land Rover are aggressively pursuing electrification. Jaguar intends to release three new electric vehicles, the first of which will be a four-door GT in 2025. Jaguar will introduce its new JEA platform in 2025 together with a new electric vehicle (EV) with a range of up to 700 km.

These vehicles are a part of the Jaguar Land Rover brand's Reimagine plan, which sees JLR as the only name for the company moving forward and it becoming a house of brands. The Jaguar, Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery will be referred to under this as separate brands. According to JLR CEO Adrian Mardell, this plan will allow the company to deliver its modern, luxurious electric future, create new capabilities, and reaffirm its goal to become carbon net zero by 2039.
