Renault Captur SUV launched at Rs 9.99 lakh; Check Price, Features, Engine Specs & More Details
New Delhi : Renault has launched its all-new SUV Captur in India for a price tag of Rs 9.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Buyers will have to shell out Rs 13.88 lakh for the top-spec Platine variant.
Renault Captur is powered with a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.6 litre petrol engine which generate 110PS and 106PS of power respectively. These are the same engines which are offered in current version of Duster.
It is a successful European crossover that is being launched in India with minor changes. In terms of features, it comes with LED headlamps and DRLs, cornering fog lamps, LED elements in the taillamps and 17-inch alloy wheels. A unique feature of the Captur is the dynamic turn signal at the front that swoop towards the direction of the turn just like in a modern Audi.
The Captur gets a premium looking cabin with seats finished in white and black faux-leather, a touchscreen infotainment system with inbuilt navigation, a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, cruise control, rain sensing wipers and automatic headlamps. For safety, Dual air bags have been kept as standard in all varients of the car. The car also comes with a handsome ground clearance of 210 mm and also comes with a spacious boot of 392 liters.
Capture definitely has standout design and features; but will it be able to attract Indian audiences? Only time will tell.
