Renault launches brand new Duster with 154 HP

New Delhi : Renault Duster is a benchmark car when it comes to crossover SUVs, and till 2015 it used to be the highest-selling car of the segment too.

With competitors launching cars in same segment, the sales of Duster went low and with the age and no major advancement in technology, people moved to cars like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and more.

But to regain the lost shine, Renault has re-launched the car in 1.3 litre petrol engine. The car was featured in the Auto Expo 2020.

Interestingly, this is the most powerful Duster till date, even more than its competitors like Seltos and Creta.

According to a report by Rushlane, The new 1.3 liter turbo petrol Renault Duster is priced from Rs 10.49 lakhs, ex-sh for the base RxE manual variant. It is about Rs 2 lakhs more expensive than the existing Duster 1.5 liter petrol NA motor. Top Duster turbo petrol RxZ variant is priced at 11.99 lakh for the manual and Rs 13.59 lakh for the CVT.

The report also mentioned that while power of the car has been increased, it has been kept around Rs 5 lakh cheaper than the aforementioned competitors.
