Delhi : The updated 2023 Honda City will soon go on sale. Before its official release, the facelift sedan's image was posted online. If you're anxiously awaiting the release of this car, you can see from the web leaks how much the sedan has already altered.

Premium style

On the outside, the redesigned Honda City will only receive modest aesthetic updates. There are newer front and back bumpers as well as a grille among these. The entry-level model will have vertical slats and projector headlights, while higher models are anticipated to gain a honeycomb grille and LED lighting.

Honda city powertrain engine

The 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder diesel engine will be phased out in favour of an RDE-compliant 1.5-liter gasoline engine for the 2023 Honda City. The City e:HEV, on the other hand, will be available with the same 1.5-liter petrol-hybrid drivetrain as the e-CVT.

If news sources are to be believed, Honda will release a new entry-level City Hybrid model that will provide a stronger hybrid sedan choice at a lower price. In India, this vehicle will face competition from the recently released Hyundai Verna as well as the VW Virtus, Skoda Slavia, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Volkswagen Virtus.

For your knowledge, the Honda City sedan is one of the brand's best-selling automobiles. Also introduced last year, the Honda City petrol hybrid has a price tag of about Rs 19.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The upgraded Honda City then may serve as a bridge.
