Skoda Rapid Matte edition launched in India, price starts at Rs 11.99 lakh

New Delhi : Skoda Auto has launched the Skoda Rapid Matte edition in India for a starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new edition of the car will be available in an exclusive Carbon Steel matte colour option.

Talking about the exterior of the car, the new Skoda Rapid Matte edition comes with a glossy black radiator grille, glossy black door handles, black side-body moulding, glossy black spoiler, rear diffuser and black trunk lip garnish. The car has also been given black alloys to make it look more premium.

In the interio, it features dual-tone Tellur Grey interiors and premium black leatherette upholstery with Alcantara inserts. It also gets features like a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, USB air purifier and rear-view camera.

Skoda cars are known for its safety and Rapid is no different. It comes with dual front airbags and ABS are standard across the entire Skoda Rapid range.

The car is powered with a 3-cylinder, 1.0-litre, TSI petrol engine that delivers 110PS of maximum power and 175Nm of peak torque. It comes in both manual and automatic versions.

While the Skoda Rapid Matte edition manual is priced at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the automatic option is available for Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
