Delhi : A series of teaser pictures and videos of the new Nexon EV have been released by Tata Motors in advance of its later today (7 September) official debut. According to the teasers, the new Nexon EV would have the same design aesthetic as the Nexon facelift SUV. The Curvv Concept, which Tata Motors unveiled last year and at the Auto Expo earlier in January, served as the inspiration for the new design language. The closed grille in body color and the Nexon.EV badging are the only visual differences between the SUV's electric and ICE versions. The fuel lid will be replaced by the charging port, which will be placed up front.

Along with revised headlights and DRL bars, the new LED taillight units represent significant design modifications in the Nexon EV facelift. Like the Nexon facelift SUV, the taillights will have a similar sequential design. The Tata Motors emblem is raised in the center of the LED bar that spans the width of the electric vehicle. The alloy wheels will have a similar design to the most recent ICE variant.

Along the lines of the new Nexon SUV, the interior of the new Nexon EV will also receive significant updates. The new 10.25-inch free-standing touchscreen unit, digital driver display, touch-based HVAC controls, two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with touch-based mounted controls and a backlit panel, new upholstery, and other upgrades are anticipated to be included in the changes.

The size and range of the available battery units shouldn't change. Tata Motors will probably keep offering the two battery pack options. The larger 40.5kWh unit has a range of up to 453 km, and the smaller 30.2kWh unit has a range of 312 km on a single charge.
