Delhi : Hyundai is preparing to release the redesigned Creta next month. We previously revealed that the Korean automaker would launch the facelifted Creta on January 16, 2024. Several times in the last several months, test mules of the next Creta generation have been observed. Hyundai is continuing to test the upgraded Creta on Indian roads as its debut approaches. The most recent batch of spy photos were allegedly taken in Shimla and provide some fresh visual features regarding the future edition of the small SUV.

2024 Hyundai Creta facelift: New features

Hyundai is likely to increase the number of features on the equipment. A 360-degree surround camera, blind spot monitor, powered front seats with ventilation, completely digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, new HVAC controls, and other features are included.

The sensor positioned on the front bumper will validate Level 2 ADAS, which will be the most significant enhancement. It will have a slew of modern safety technologies, such as autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, lane change warning, and so on. Other standard safety features will include six airbags, traction control, and hill-hold assist.

Facelifted Hyundai Creta 2024: Powertrain Options

For the new Creta, Hyundai is likely to keep the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and the 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine. The former produces 114 horsepower and 144 Nm of peak torque, while the latter produces 114 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. A new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine will replace the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that was terminated earlier this year.

The engine, which is also available in the Hyundai Verna and Kia Setos, produces 158 horsepower and 253 Nm of peak torque. There will be six-speed manual, six-speed automatic, CVT automatic, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, and six-speed clutchless manual gearbox choices.

Hyundai Creta facelift 2024: New design

The most recent batch of spy photos show the SUV's rear end, revealing that the Creta facelift will get in-style linked LED taillights with reworked inverted L-shaped components. A high-mounted brake lamp merged with the rear spoiler and a tailgate-mounted registration plate are the other two conspicuous elements at the rear. As a result, the Hyundai logo has been moved significantly.

Furthermore, the front and rear bumpers have been substantially reprofiled. As previously announced, the front fascia will be entirely reworked, including a new grille and LED headlights. In addition, the nose will be flatter than on the previous model. Another significant update will be the new 5-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels.
