Top Sedans to launch in 2019: Expected list

New Delhi : When it’s about cars in the luxury category, you won't miss to mention about Sedan. Moving onto 2019, a few Sedan from the top car makers are in queue to be launched this year. Ranging from an average one to an upper-class elite, car buyers’ will get an array of choices according to their budget. Car manufacturers such as BMW, Audi, Honda and Hyundai have announced that they will be introducing their flagship cars soon from its various showrooms within the same calendar year. Here's a quick look at what to expect this 2019.

Toyota Camry launch in 2019

The new-gen Camry is based on the same TNGA platform as the premium Lexus ES 300h. So expect it to be spacious as well as quite stylish too. Like before, expect Toyota to offer it with a hybrid power train only. Although the test mule is heavily camouflaged, it is identifiable as the Thai-spec Camry which went on sale in October 2018. The new Toyota Camry will be expected to launch on January 18th and it will be priced between Rs. 29.75 lakh to Rs. 37.22 lakh. It will primarily rival the Hyundai Accord Hybrid in India.

Audi A8 launch in 2019

The flagship Audi A8 was supposed to reach our shores in 2018. Unfortunately, that was not to be. The German model makers are going to feature plenty more high-tech features than before, competing with the likes of Mercedes Benz S-Class and the BMW 7 Series. The Audi A8 is expected to hit the showroom floors next month and it will be priced from Rs. 1.1 to 2 crore.

Honda Civic launch in 2019

The upcoming Honda Civic will feature a diesel engine other than petrol engine. The diesel unit of the car will be borrowed from the CR-V, while the petrol engine could be the updated version of the 1.8-litre naturally-aspirated motor, better than its older predecessor. The new Honda Civic will be launched sometime around April and the price of this sedan will range from Rs 18 to 24 lakh.

Audi A6 launch in 2019

The new Audi A6 bears a lot of visual similarities with its elder sibling, the A8, now. It even gets a new mild-hybrid technology which helps it coast at speeds between 55kmph and 160kmph to save fuel. The Audi A6 is much bigger in size than its predecessor. It is now 7mm longer, 12mm wider and 2mm, plus the wheelbase has also gone up by 12mm and now stands at 2924mm. The Audi A6 will be priced between Rs. 54 to 56 lakh and it is expected to launch by February.

Hyundai Elantra launch in 2019

The new Elantra from the house of Hyundai has undergone a thorough facelift and looks a lot more aggressive than before. The refreshed sedan will feature an updated equipment list as well. Hyundai has revealed the 2019 Elantra facelift in the US. The refreshed version of the sixth-gen model will go on sale in the US later this year and is likely to be launched in India in 2019.

BMW 3 launch in 2019

The new BMW 3 Series will now be available in all-new avatar. The car was spotted undergoing tests at the Nurburgring some time back and we hope to put it through its paces at our proving ground, the Buddh International Circuit, later this year. The BMW3 Series is slated to launch in June 2019 and is priced between Rs 40 to 50 lakhs.

Volvo S60 launch in 2019

The third-gen S60 is going to be the first Volvo in a long time that won’t get a diesel engine. Instead, it will only be sold with petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The Volvo S60 is slated to release in June of this year and is priced between Rs 40 to 50 lakhs.
