Toyota Urban Cruiser pre booking officially begins in India
New Delhi : Toyota India has officially started taking bookings for its upcoming Urban Cruiser subcompact SUV. The interested people can book their Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza-based SUV with a token amount of Rs 11,000 at the Toyota's dealerships as well as online.
The car is expected to launch in the upcoming festive season. Though the company has not revealed the actual price of the car, it has listed it on the official website highlighting its specifications and features.
Since Urban Cruiser is a product under Maruti-Toyota partnership, it will just be a re-badged version of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
It will be getting some styling updates, including two-slat wedge cut grille, trapezoidal bold fog area, Dual LED projector headlamps with dual function LED DRL-cum-indicator, LED fog lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, stylish split LED taillamps, high mounted LED stop lamp, and more.
The car will be available in multiple colour options - Blue, Brown, White, Orange, Silver, Grey, Blue/Black, Brown/Black and Orange/White.
The car will be feature-rich with latest technologies like automatic climate control, steering mounted controls, push start-stop button, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, electrochromic Inside Rear-View Mirror (IRVM), smart playcast touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay compatibility along with smartphone-based navigation.
Urban Cruiser is will be powered with a BS6 K series 1.5-litre engine which is capable of generating 103 bhp of maximum power against the peak torque of 138 Nm. The motor will come mated to a 5-speed manual and an optional 4-speed automatic torque converter unit.
