The Hyundai i10 is one of the models that the Indian automaker has been producing for the longest. Over the years, the hatchback has seen a number of changes, including the addition of the "Nios" logo a few years ago. What was once the i10 was later renamed the Grand i10, and is now the i10 Nios.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Interior

The inside has a dual colour theme, a newly designed seat pattern, foot well lighting, a 260-litre cargo area, and other amenities. The redesigned i10 Nios features a revised grille, projector headlamps, new DRLs, a shark fin antenna, new 15-inch alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lamps. The Grand i10 is a critical vehicle for Hyundai India, with a 31% market share in the hatchback sector. The Grand i10 Nios is aimed at people aged 25 to 35. Over 80 nations will receive the new Hyundai Grand i10.

The 2023 Hyundai i10 Nios will be redesigned with a new front grille, new DRLs, alloy wheel design, and other changes. Subtle improvements have made a significant difference in the overall design.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios 2023: New Features

The 2018 Hyundai i10 Nios facelift receives a number of updates, including AC vents for the back, wireless charging, type-C USB charging ports, automated climate control, auto headlights, and cruise control. Six airbags are included in the Grand i10 Nios' top trim level, while four are provided as standard across the board. A first for the sector, customers can choose to have all six airbags installed. The upgraded Grand i10 Nios hatchback is 3,815mm long, 1,680mm wide, 1,520mm tall, and has a 2,450mm wheelbase.

Hyundai offers three engine options for the redesigned i10 Nios: a 1.2-litre petrol linked to a manual gearbox, a 1.2-litre petrol paired to an automatic transmission, and the same 1.2-litre unit with dual fuel (petrol + CNG) paired to a manual.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Infotainment system



An 8.0-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, navigation, and other features will be standard on the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift. In India, the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will face up against the Tata Tiago and the Maruti Suzuki Swift. Other rivals including the Ford Figo, Skoda Fabia, and Volkswagen Polo have long since left the Indian market.

Hyundai includes 6 airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, cruise control, stability control, hill start and parking assist, parking sensors, and other technologies in the 2023 i10 Nios.

Bookings are now open

Earlier this month, Hyundai debuted the 2023 i10 Nios and began taking reservations for the hatchback. For Rs 11,000, customers may reserve the upgraded i10 Nios at dealerships or online. The i10 has used a variety of engines and transmissions over the years, including gasoline, diesel, compressed natural gas (CNG), and a turbo gasoline transmission. Manual, automatic, and AMT gearboxes were all available.

In India, the Hyundai i10 was first introduced in 2007, and then had a facelift in 2013. Later, in 2019, Hyundai gave the i10 a sportier design in addition to introducing the "Nios" badge.

The new Hyundai I10 Nios is now available in India starting at Rs 5.69 lakh.

As previously indicated, the CNG version of the Nios comes with a 60-liter CNG tank and has the same 1.2-liter engine. The CNG, however, only comes with a manual gearbox, unlike the petrol variant.

Hyundai claims that the new Nios's manual and AMT versions both get 20.1 and 20.7 kilometres per gallon, respectively.

A 1.2-liter petrol engine with 82 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque will power the 2023 Grand i10 Nios facelift. The two available transmissions are an AMT and a 5-speed manual. On CNG, the same engine produces 95 Nm of torque and 69 horsepower.
