Volkswagen launch Virtus and Taigun Sound editions, priced from Rs 15.52 Lakh
Delhi : It is evident from the name that the Virtus Sound Edition has unique artwork on the C-pillars and 'Sound Edition' writing. Most importantly, it also comes with a high-fidelity audio system that includes an amplifier, a subwoofer, and seven speakers. The 'Sound Edition' branding is stitched into the powered front seats. The colors Lava Red, Rising Blue, Wild Cherry Red, and Carbon Steel Grey are available for customers to choose from.
A subwoofer, an amplifier, and seven speakers are all featured in the Taigun Sound Edition. Along with special artwork, it has 'Sound Edition' writing on the C-pillars. There are several paint options available for the Taigun Sound Edition. For example, Volkswagen recently redesigned the SUV and included powered front-row seats, which are also available on the special edition models.
Engines of the Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun Sound Edition
In contrast to the regular variants, the 1.0-liter, inline, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 115PS and 148Nm of torque is the only one offered with the Virtus and Taigun Sound Edition vehicles. Both a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission are mated to this engine. An additional 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged TSI Evo petrol engine with 150PS and 250Nm is available for the standard Taigun and Virtus. There is cylinder deactivation technology included with this motor. It is coupled to a DSG automatic transmission with seven speeds as well as a six-speed manual.

The price of the 1.0-liter Virtus Sound Edition MT is Rs 15.51 lakh, while the 1.0-liter AT version is Rs 16.77 lakh. Taigun Sound Edition 1.0-liter MT costs Rs 16.33 lakh, while the 1.0-liter AT variant costs Rs 17.90 lakh.
