Uber Introduces 'Round Trip' - Book Outstation Trips for Up to 5 Days

Delhi : Uber debuted "Round Trip," its newest feature for its main long-distance service, Intercity, on Monday, December 18. With this update, travellers may schedule return journeys for one or more days while staying in the same vehicle with the same driver for the whole trip.

This new function, which is available in all locations, gives consumers ease and flexibility for travel for both work and play.

Now, travellers may schedule round-trip outings that last up to five days, during which the car and driver will stay with them. The increased adaptability also permits travellers to make additional stops along the way. Uber has made it possible to book trips up to 90 days in advance, which should help with itinerary planning for planned out-of-town travel. Drivers gain from this feature as well, since it gives them the chance to set their schedules in advance and ensure better revenue.

When booking round-trips, the rate covers waiting times, overnight hotel costs for longer stays, and the payment of drivers' wages for their labour.

The new function not only offers flexibility but also removes the need to manually schedule local taxi services for travel. It also has the added benefit of allowing users to follow their route through the app, which improves safety and dependability.

How to Reserve a Round-Trip Intercity Travel:

From the choices in the suggestions column, choose "Intercity" (if "Intercity" is not available on the home screen, select "See all").

Enter your destination and select "Round Trip."

Select 'Leave Now' if you need the car right away.

To reserve the automobile for a later time, select "Reserve" and provide the day and time of pick-up.

You have up to five days to pick the time and date of your return for the automobile.

Select the sort of car that you want.

Book your round-trip after carefully reviewing all the booking information on the confirmation screen.
