After HDFC, SBI services also down

New Delhi : The State Bank of India's banking services were hit on Thursday, creating a massive outage on social media with people sharing their experiences. Most of the SBI customers took to twitter and shared that they were unable to make online transactions.

The Bank later released a statement saying that their YONO mobile app has been impacted due to system outage and the bank is working towards restoration of services.

The SBI outage comes two week after HDFC Bank suffered from the same issue. All internet banking services had gone down during the outage.

The Reserve Bank of India’s order came on Wednesday, days after the last instance of service outage across its digital banking channels, including internet banking, mobile banking and other payments. The outage, which happened on November 21, had severely inconvenienced customers, the bank informed the exchanges on Thursday.
