Blinkit partners with Sony to deliver PS5 in 10 minutes

New Delhi : Zomato-owned quick commerce platform Blinkit has partnered with Sony India to sell their PlayStation 5 slim edition gaming console from April 5 onwards on its platform. With this, the buyers will be able to get the PS5 gaming console delivered in just ten minutes.

Blinkit’s CEO, Albinder Dhindsa, also confirmed the partnership in a post on X (formerly twitter).

For those who are unaware, Sony has already confirmed the launch of PlayStation 5 slim edition models in India from April 5 onwards. The Japanese electronic brand has also released the prices for PlayStation 5 models.

PlayStation 5 Slim series: Price and availability

PlayStation 5 Slim (Disc version): Rs 54,990

PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition: Rs 44,990

Both models are available in India for sale via different platforms, including Blinkit.

The PS5 Slim has a slim body, which is 30% slimmer than the predecessor While the inbuilt disk driver version of the PS5 has reduced its weight by up to 18% from its predecessor and the digital edition weighs 30% less than the older generation model.

Talking about these specifications the PS5 slim series offers up to 1TB onboard storage compared to 825GB on the predecessor.
