<i>Dil ki deal!</i> Snapdeal acquirs Freecharge for $400 million

New Delhi : E-commerce giant in India Snapdeal has acquired recharge firm Freecharge for a whopping 400 million dollar

Freecharge allows people to recharge their mobile phones with attractive coupons and offers

Snapdeal counts 75% business from mobile and this deal is expected to boost their sales a bit

It is touted to be as one of the biggest deals in mobile world so far

Recently, Flipkart had acquired Myntra for $300

Kunal Behl said Snapdeal has now become India's largest mobile commerce firm with about 40 million users.

Kunal also mentioned that Freecharge will continue working as an independent entity

Freecharge is in current competition with Paytm, another mobile recharge service with added benefits.
