New Delhi : The prices of gold continued to decline for the third consecutive day on Sunday. The price of gold on MCX is Rs 51,519 per ten 10 grams, which is Rs 1,290 less than yesterday.

In Delhi, the 22-carat gold was retailing at Rs 48,460 with a decline of Rs 1,190 and that of 24 -carat gold is at Rs 52,860 with a fall of Rs 1,290. In Chennai, the 22-carat gold is rated at Rs 47,010 per ten gram with a slash of Rs 910, while 24 carat is at Rs 50,280 with a slash of Rs 990.

The fall has been registered as the gold prices have also fallen in the global markets as well. Since the prices mentioned in the story are from the morning, it is advised that the buyers must check the live prices of gold before making a purchase.
