Admit card of UPSC civil services mains 2018 available at upsc.gov.in: Download now

New Delhi : UPSC has released admit cards for the civil service main exam 2018. Candidates who are going to appear for the exam may download the same from the official website, upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.

UPSC civil service main exam will be conducted on Monday, October 1, 2018. Earlier on June 3, 2018, the UPSC prelims exam was held in which close to 3 lakh aspirants participated. The result of civil services preliminary examination was declared on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Now, an estimated 10,500 will appear for the mains.

Sources confirmed that the UPSC website was hacked and thus, was kept closed for maintenance. The candidates can therefore, log in to upsconline.nic.in to download the hall tickets.

This time, the cut-off for the UPSC main exam has been increased. Since the vacancy is around 782 which is much smaller in number as the candidates appearing in the exam. Therefore, the cut-off for the main is expected to set challenges for the aspirants.

To download admit card of UPSC Civil Services Mains 2018, follow the mentioned steps:

Step 1: Log on to the official website mentioned above

Step 2: Under ‘What’s new’, click on the link for admit card

Step 3: In the provided fields, enter your roll number/other required details

Step 4: Click on submit

Step 5: Your admit card will be displayed on the screen

Step 6: Download the same and take a printout for future reference

UPSC civil service exam is conducted every year once, in three stages: preliminary, main and finally personal interview to select candidates to fill administrative positions in different All India Services and central civil services including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and IRTS
