AIIMS MBBS 2017 Counselling to start from July 3: Check Schedule and Seat Allotment
New Delhi : All India Insititute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS counselling for academic year 2017-18 will start from July 3. The entrance exam of AIIMS MBBS 2017 was conducted on May 28. The result of the entrance examination for selection of MBBS seats in seven (07) AIIMS was declared on June 14, 2017.
AIIMS MBBS 2017 Result and Rank forms basis for counselling for AIIMS New Delhi and 6 other AIIMS which have a total of 707 seats. Candidates who obtain qualifying marks are considered for inclusion in AIIMS Merit List 2017 with marks.
What’s New in AIIMS MBBS?
1. Number of Seats has been increased from 700 to 707. The increased number of seats is in AIIMS Delhi.
2. The increased number of seats are for Foreign candidates. This will be the for the first time when AIIMS Delhi will granting admission to Foreign national on the basis of MBBS entrance exam score.
AIIMS MBBS 2017 Counselling:
The counselling session of AIIMS MBBS 2017 will start from July 3, 2017. On the basis of the merit list, the candidates will be called for the counselling. In each category i.e. UR, OBC, SC & ST, the total no. of the candidate to be called for counselling will be 4 times the no. of seats available in each category.
Those called for the counselling have to report at the centre with all the necessary documents. Firstly the counselling for general candidates will be held and after that for the reservation category candidates.
Documents required in original, and also one set of self attested copies:
1. Admit card
2. Call letter issued by AIIMS
3. Date of birth proof
4. Certificate / mark sheet from 10+2 board
5. Migration certificate from board last attended
6. Caste certificate
7. 6 copies of passport size photos
Fees: Candidates need to pay fees in cash immediately after completing formalities. Academic fee and hostel fees given in AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2017 brochure are as follows.

About AIIMS:
AIIMS is an autonomous institute operating under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It is because AIIMS is autonomous that it conducted AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2017 (whereas other institutions have to accept NEET scores). Admission will be on basis of AIIMS Result 2017. The oldest AIIMS in India is the one at New Delhi; rest are quite recently established.
