Boards 2019: Bihar board expells 26 'Munna Bhai', 406 candidates for cheating

Patna : Within 10 days, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) expelled 432 candidates for using unfair means during the examination. 26 candidates were found to be impersonators, popularly called ‘Munna Bhai’.

The intermediate examination was conducted between February 6 to February 16.

The board has opted for strict measures this year, but still students have managed to slip through the measures and tried their luck. BSEB has introduced two-level frisking of candidates before entering the exam hall and has banned shoes and socks to avoid cheating.

Over 13 lakh students have appeared in the intermediate examination this year. Class 12 Board examination concluded on February 16, 2019. Starting from February 21, Class 10 Board examination will conclude on February 28, 2019.
