New Delhi : Delhi University Admissions 2017: Delhi University (DU) has begun the admission process, students can begin with online registration for the colleges affiliated to the University from 5 PM on Monday for 60 undergraduate courses. 

The students will be required to visit www.ug.du.ac.in and pay the registration fee for Delhi University Admission 2017. According to a NDTV report, 54,000 seats across the university will be available through online registration between 22 May and 12 June.

A revamped portal has been launched this time to avoid complaints of a slow and crashing server. The revamped portal will "have a simpler interface, something which the applicants can even access on their phones if a laptop/desktop is not available," TOI quotes Maharaj K Pandit, head of the admission committee.

A guideline has been incorporated on the home page that will give "step-by-step instructions on how to fill up the form, which is also available in Hindi", he added. 

The last date to complete the registration process is June 12, 2017. On completion of the application, a confirmation message will pop up on the homepage, and the applicants will receive an email and a text message on the registered address and phone number.

The university help desk will be functional from 9am to 5pm on all working days and all grievances will be addressed by the office of the Dean of Social Welfare. A helpline number with multiple lines will also be there.

Delhi University Admissions 2017 Registration Process:

Step 1: Decide course you want to pursue from Delhi University.

Step 2: Get registered on the official website, which begins from 5 PM on May 22.

Step 3: Check the cut off marks released by the university.

Step 4: Visit college, submit relevant documents within 3 days of the release of cut off marks.

Step 5: After submitting the documents, verification will be done by the concerned official.

Step 6: On successful verification, submit the fees.
