Jaipur boy Harsh Gupta claims top rank in Chemical Engineering

Jaipur : IIT Roorkee on Sunday announced results for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 exams. Jaipur boy Harsh Gupta, student of Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), claimed top rank in the examination.

Incredibly brilliant student Harsh Gupta's GATE score stands at 999 out of 1000.

Harsh completed his schooling from Jaipuria Vidyalaya, a CBSE school on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg. He then took admission in MNIT in 2013 for an engineering course.

Talking to news daily, he claimed that so far there is no specific choice of college he would want to take admission in; and would also like to consult it with his seniors. 

“I will consult my seniors and teachers to decide whether I go for Master’s at an IIT or try for a job in a public sector undertaking (PSU),” Harsh told Hindustan Times.
