IIT admission test 2019 for M.Sc courses: All you need to know

New Delhi : The Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur will organize Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM), 2019 on February 10 for diverse courses including Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology and Mathematical Statistics papers. If you are interested to pursue your higher education in the reputed institute of India, then take a look at the important details of IIT JAM 2019 exam, mentioned below:

IIT JAM 2019 will be held on two sessions (9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm) as computer based test. IIT Kharagpur will conduct the exam in collaboration with eight zones:  IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee. Candidates can refer jam.iitkgp.ac.in for details regarding the exam.

As per official announcement, online registration for IIT JAM 2019 will begin on September 1, 2018. Candidates can register till October 10, 2018. 

Eligibility:

Candidates with Bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for the exam. 'In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates

Last date for submission of online application and uploading of necessary documents on the website is October 10, 2018. Following the completion of registration process, admit card can be downloaded from January 4, 2019.

Exam date of IIT JAM 2019 for M.Sc courses

IIT will conduct admission test for evaluating candidates for M.Sc courses on February 10, 2019

Also the notification says that the results will be declared on March 20, 2019 and submission of application form for admission will start from April 11.
