New Delhi : The Health Department of Kerala has started preparing for the safe conduct of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 on September 13.

To ensure that the transmission among the examinees is zero, the department has said that the students coming from abroad or other states must go under 15-day self-quarantine after their arrival in the state. It has also been decided that a separate examination center will be allocated to the students who will be coming from containment zones in India.

Authorities in charge of the respective exam centres will be directed to make necessary infrastructure arrangements in consultation with the health department.

A special training will also be provided to examiners on how to sanitize themselves and conduct examinations under the Covid-19 protocols.

Other recommendations include not conducting the exam in air-conditioned classrooms or halls, making it mandatory for all invigilators to wear triple-layer masks and gloves etc. students to place their answer sheets into a large plastic bag kept in the classroom hall.
