Mumbai : The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHE) will be announcing the HSC (Class 12) results on its official website mahresult.nic.in at 1 pm on Thursday.

The result dates have been changed several times and earlier it was announced that the results will be declared on July 15. However, the Board has now confirmed that the results will be announced today, according to a Times Now report.

According to the news report, the results will be announced by 11 am but the same will be available online from 1 pm onwards.

Once the results are declared, the students who had appeared for the examination can visit the official website - mahresult.nic.in – and follow the simple steps mentioned below to get their scores.

Here are the steps to check the results:

Step 1: Go to the official website at mahresult.nic.in 

Step 2: Click on MSBSHE HSC Class 12 Result 2020 link

Step 3: Enter details like roll number to log in

Step 4: The result will appear on the screen. Download and take a print out for future reference.

In case the official website does not open due to heavy traffic, the students can also check their results on hscresult.mkcl.org and on examresults.net.  

How to check the results via SMS?

Students can also access their score via SMS by typing MH<exam name> <Seat No.> and sending it to 57766.

Over 15 lakh students had appeared for the examination this year which was severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic. However, most of the examinations were conducted before the lockdown was implemented in the nation, the results were delayed due to the lockdown.

According to a Careers 360 report mentioned that the Maharashtra board began the evaluation of answer sheets from 6 May.

To clear the examination, a student is required to score minimum 35% marks in each subject.
