NEET PG Exam 2019: Application process begins at nbe.edu.in, here's how to apply

New Delhi : The National Board of Examination (NBE) has announced the exam dates of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2019. The exam will be held on January 6, 2019 and interested students are advised to complete the registration process. 

The NEET PG 2019, application form has been made available on nbe.edu.in, the official website of NBE. Students are suggested to visit the website, read the published notification carefully and fill in the application form carefully. 

The last date to submit the application form is November 22. Applicants should keep their scanned photo, signature and education certificates ready in order to fill their form. They should have an email and mobile number that will be used during registration

About NEET PG

NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to postgraduate medical courses (MD/ MS and PG Diploma courses). 

It must be noted that NEET is mandatory even for the foreign nationals seeking admission in PG courses in India.

NEET PG 2019 eligibility criteria

Only those candidates can apply who have an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognised college. 

He/ She should possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

Candidate should also have completed one year of internship or are expected to complete the internship on or before March 31, 2019.

NEET PG 2019 registration fees

The registration fees for general category and OBC is Rs 3,750 while for SC/ST/ PWD/ PH, it is Rs 2,750.
