New Delhi : Supreme Court verdict on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Examination results 2017 is out now, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been allowed to declare the results. According to reports the results are likely to be declared within next 10 days on the official website.

The apex court on Monday stayed Madras HC interim order restraining publication of results of NEET for admission to MBBS and BDS. 

Lakhs of students, parents and educational institutes were anxiously waiting for the NEET results, which was initially scheduled for release on June 8.

The CBSE had on June 9 moved the top court seeking an immediate stay on the Madras High Court order restraining the publication of NEET 2017 results for admission to MBBS and BDS courses across the country.

The CBSE made an urgent mention before the SC to lift the stay on the declaration of the results. Last month, the  Madras High Court had stayed the publication of CBSE NEET results, directing the Medical Council of India, Health Ministry and the board to file counter affidavits. The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE is also seeking the transfer of the matter from Madras and Gujarat High Court to the top court.

This year the Central Board of Secondary Education had conducted CBSE NEET Exam in English, Hindi and other local languages based on an SC directive. 

How to check the CBSE NEET 20017 answer keys:

1. Go to the official website, www.cbseneet.nic.in

2. Click on the link, 'NEET 2017 Answer Key'

3. Enter the requisite details

4. After submitting the same, the answer keys will be displayed on the screen

The CBSE will be declared the CBSE NEET Exam results 2017 on June 8,2017 at official website,cbseneet.nic.in. Once the CBSE NEET results 2017 are announced, the aspirants will need to proceed for the counselling session.

How to Check CBSE NEET Results 2017: 

1. Go to official website, cbseneet.nic.in.

2. Click on the link to check CBSE NEET results

3. First type in roll number of NEET UG 2017. Then select date of birth from calendar. Click the ‘Submit’ button.

4. Check the displayed result.

NEET Exam is owned by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,  CBSE is only an examination conducting agency. After the declaration of results, the data will be passed on to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare which will coordinate the counselling with the respective States for admissions.
