New Delhi : The medical education sector of Noida has received a major boost of  150 MBBS seats as the National medical commission has recognised and given their approval to the new Noida International institute of medical sciences(NIIMS), Greater Noida. Nims has started accepting a fresh batch of MBBS students for the coming academic session of 2020 -2021.

Located strategically, NIIMS, a unit of Noida International University,  offers to fill a huge gap in the medical education landscape of the knowledge hub Noida- Greater Noida as the region has witnessed the dearth of recognised medical colleges for a long time.

"NIIMS as an institution  is totally dedicated to  the cause of bracing up the healthcare system in India. With an integrated approach we have developed an ecosystem that on one hand churns out quality medical practitioners  and on the other  meets the ever growing need of efficient healthcare solutions and treatment to the needies with our 350+ bedded on campus hospital. This pragmatic approach instills deeper understanding of what it takes to become a quality medical practitioner and an empathic healer from the very onset of a medical student's journey," says Dr. Devesh Kumar Singh, Chairman Noida International institute of medical sciences.

To achieve this feat NIIMS provides breeding ground to the aspiring practitioners in its large 75 acre lush green campus which is equipped with state of art laboratories designed as per the revised curriculum of NMC, modern classroom theatres with audio visual technology, advanced e-library and integrated knowledge resource centre along with on campus hostel & cafeteria.

Recently NIIMS achieved another milestone by setting up an NABL certified COVID testing laboratory within its premises in the unprecedented pandemic times to  expand testing accessibility.

Currently the NEET counselling is underway and to facilitate registration applicants can visit and register themselves for NIIMS alongside scheduling campus visits.
