Swiss International University Extends Global Footprint with $21.7 Million Acquisition in Switzerland, Dubai, and Kyrgyzstan

Mumbai : Swiss International University with Acquisitions Expands Its Global Reach with US$21.7 Million Cross-Border Three Countries Acquisition.

In a strategic deal worth $21.7 million, the Swiss International University will dramatically expand its reach across the globe with an acquisition of four prestigious academies based in Switzerland, Dubai, and Kyrgyzstan. It would further strengthen the education mission of the university in all formats-from traditional classrooms to online learning and international campuses-with its students from all over the world now better accessible to such high-class education.

One of the most significant acquisitions is the Zurich-based International Academy started in 2013 and is Switzerland's first virtual institute. The academy received online accreditation from EFMD in 2016, as well as accreditations from ASIC - a British government-approved accrediting body - and ECLBS Accreditation as a quality assurance body permitted by CHEA USA and INQAAHE Europe. The virtual academy focuses on virtual education and happens to be in complete alignment with Swiss International University's mission of integrating technology with academic excellence, offering highly flexible and innovative options for learning by the students.

The Swiss International University acquired the 2016-founded International Business Management School, ISBM Ltd., situated in Luzern. ISBM has a high rank among the 5-star QS rating and falls within the top 2% of higher education worldwide. On top of this, ISBM is allowed to issue diplomas by the Luzern Board of Education. This new acquisition supports university business and management studies in better training at the leadership and strategic development levels of businesses.

The acquisition also includes the ISB Management Training Institute in Dubai, founded in 2022. Approved by Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the institute offers government-approved diplomas up to Level 8, which is equivalent to a doctoral qualification. The institute also provides vocational education programs, further enhancing Swiss International University’s educational presence in the UAE and diversifying its offerings in the Middle East.

Swiss International University bought the Osh-based Kyrgyz-Uzbek International Pedagogy Institute in Kyrgyzstan. allowed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, it offers both classroom teaching and online education. This further extended the reach of the university within Central Asia and offered new opportunities to students in the region.

With these acquisitions, Swiss International University not only extends its global network but also enhances its reputation in the academic field, hence placing it on a better pedestal concerning worldwide claims in higher education. The university, therefore, by anchoring tradition with modern teaching methods, will yet again produce this new great generation of leaders to serve and help every learner find a brighter future ahead as quality access to education for students with diverse backgrounds is accomplished.
