UPTET 2021 entrance exam for teachers cancelled after WhatsApp leak

Lucknow : A major entrance examination – UPTET 2021 - for the selection of teachers has been cancelled today after the question paper was leaked in a Whatsapp group.

According to a news report, the exam has been rescheduled for the next month.

Several people in Allahabad, Meerut and Ghaziabad have been arrested for their alleged connection to the paper leak.

Fresh dates of the examinations will be released soon by the administration.

The candidates will not have to resubmit the fees or apply again for the examination. The candidates are advised to check the official website updeled.gov.in and believe only what is said in the official notifications to avoid confusion regarding the exam.
